As we look to work and live further out into space it’s important to understand how the human body and the biological systems that are on and around us are responding to that environment that Information will allow us to keep astronauts safe and healthy So gene lab is an effort to maximize the reuse of precious spaceflight experiments Gene lab, does this through data system that allows anyone to download and analyze these data sets Spaceflight experiments are unique because the spaceflight environment is unique for example The long-duration weightlessness we have on the International Space Station and the radiation environment inside the station are two things that we cannot Duplicate in detail on earth So if you want to understand the broad question of how biology responds to spaceflight it’s really important to sample Biological diversity we have data from humans mice fruit flies worms fish squid Microbes and plants. It really runs the gamut of biological diversity What’s remarkable about gene lab is the effort to take these very rare precious spaceflight experiments and to maximize The the knowledge that we’re getting from from that and we do that through providing the data in a curated fashion That’s easy to use Putting it in context over their data sets and then bringing a community together to actually analyze that data and come up with new discoveries Data and gene-lab are important for the Artemis mission and going forward to Mars because they tell us how living systems respond to spaceflight and you need that information to Keep the crew healthy and performing well, so as we move forward to the moon and on to Mars We’re going to need a base of knowledge from which to make Decisions that will keep astronauts safe. So gene-lab provides that it’s a foundation of knowledge That can be analyzed to answer a number of difficult different questions related to how biological systems respond to space

  • Hey folks it's entirely possible to retrofit a rocket ship with various propulsion mechanisms that can be inner played for best effect to travel at a extremely high level of speed to the nearest star system take video and all the rest I've even suggested mini Rockets it can be done it much less cost and still get that job done and of course just large enough to carry fuel at all but I mean it can run off of solar and then whatever else but do it in such a way that it builds up momentum to get out there

  • also I kind of have a feeling that there may be a civilization below Mars they said that every night at midnight is that Earth time or Mars time I don't know but there is a laser beam straight at Earth every midnight

  • We have no reason to not go to the moon and establish an outpost there's plenty of minerals there that we can also use for fuel it is every bit accessible as cold fusion even if it's not in the same way that they've proposed it works the same for energy

  • Also I see no reason to not have a major Space Telescope teleported far out into space for far better views to be beamed back to us

  • I think I know why Mars trajectory through space used to completely befuddled old astronomers is because of both distance and trajectory that is it was just at the right distance and trajectory there can be that effect like for example look at some of these videos they show what would happen if Saturn swoop past Earth as close as the moon where all of a sudden it will just swoop right above
